Kapsalon De Meester (Dorpsstraat 24, 3811 AB Amersfoort, the Netherlands) handles your personal data with care. This privacy policy explains what data we collect through this website, what we use it for and what rights you have.
What data we collect
Contact form
When you fill in the contact form, we receive your name, e-mail address, optionally your phone number, the subject and your message. We only use this to answer your question and keep it for at most twelve months.
Online appointments
For an online appointment we ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number and optionally a note. We need these to schedule the appointment, send you a confirmation and reach you if anything changes. We keep appointment data for up to two years after your last visit.
Shop
When you order, we process your name, address, e-mail address, phone number and your order. We use this to prepare your order and handle the payment. For our accounts we are legally required to keep invoice data for seven years.
Hair advice tool and price builder
The advice tool and the price builder run entirely in your own browser. Your answers are not sent to us and are not stored. Only if you then book an appointment is the chosen treatment passed on to the booking form.
Cookies
This website only uses functional cookies needed for the site to work: to remember your cart, keep your language choice (Dutch or English) and let the booking form work step by step. We use no tracking or advertising cookies and no third-party analytics. Functional cookies do not require consent.
Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We only share it with parties needed to run this website, such as our hosting provider and the e-mail service that sends confirmations. We have agreements with them about security and confidentiality. Fonts and images are loaded from our own server, not from external services.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to its use. To do so, e-mail [email protected]. We will reply within four weeks. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
The website uses a secure connection (https). Only staff who need it for their work can access your data.
